Arpa D. (Davide Alessandro Arpa) – vocal coach / singer, musicista, arrangiatore, autore, performer - inizia a studiare pianoforte e chitarra alla età di 6 anni. A 14 anni si avvicina allo studio del canto moderno, pop e Jazz iniziando le sue prime registrazioni amatoriali e esibizioni presso diversi centri musicali nel milanese e nel comasco. Nel 1991 consegue il "Certificato di Compimento Medio in pianoforte" presso il conservatorio Statale di musica “G.Verdi" di Torino” con votazione 9,57 su 10. Appassionato di pop/rock moderno e di musica angloamericana, dopo aver conseguito nel 1995 il "Certificate of Graduation Teacher of Modern Acoustic Guitar" presso la Eastman School of Music della Università di Rochester (U.s), approfondisce gli studi di canto moderno e di chitarra acustica con numerosi insegnanti tra i quali Mario Giordano, Franco Morone, Martin Di Leo, Giorgio Secco, Luca Jurman, Vittoria Verrone, Charles Grange. Nel 1998 acquisisce il “Certificate of Graduation on Vocal Discipline” della Università del Massachusset (U.s) dove approfondisce i 4 principali approcci pedagogici di canto moderno: Meccanico-estetico/descrittivo-Imitativo Funzionale/causa ed effetto. Artista ecclettico e poliedrico, ha esplorato numerose e differenti forme musicali dal Jazz tradizionale, al Mainstreams, al Blues, alla Musica leggera, al Teatro Canzone. Approfondisce l’attività formativa con il maestro Charles Grange attraverso incontri individuali e seminari sulla voce e sulla sua funzionalita'. Ha partecipato a numerosi festival e concorsi canori tra cui Sanremo Rock e Sanremo Giovani. Dagli anni 90/2000 intraprende professionalmente l’attività d’insegnamento musicale, di serate di live music e di registrazioni per numerosi studi, scuole di musica e realtà teatrali anche della regione Lombardia che gli hanno consentito di sperimentare un largo ventaglio di stili musicali: dal cantautorato italiano e straniero, alla musica pop/rock/leggera d’autore degli anni 70-’80-90, dalla world music al rhytm&blues, fino alla produzione di  brani inediti. Numerosi i dischi pubblicati per la etichetta DrSound Recording Music in lingua italiana (https://myspace.com/davidearpa) e inglese (https://www.reverbnation.com/arpad). Laureato presso l’Università Statale di Milano con una tesi sui diritti d’autore musicale e presso l’Università Unipegaso di Roma in Scienze e Tecniche Psicologiche, attualmente si dedica prevalentemente all’attività di Vocal-Coaching e di concerti evento di Live Music. Davide Alessandro Arpa - solo singer, vocalist, musician, arranger, author, singing teacher - began studying piano and guitar at the age of 6. At the age of 14, he approaches the study of modern, pop and jazz singing, starting his first amateur recordings and performances at various music centers in the Milanese and Como areas. In 1991 he obtained the Middle Achievement Certificate in piano at the State Conservatory of Music "G. Verdi in Turin" with a score of 9.57 out of 10. Passionate about modern pop / rock and Anglo-American music, after having obtained the Certificate of Graduation Teacher in 1995 of Modern acoustic guitar at the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochesterer (Us), deepens his studies of modern singing and acoustic guitar with numerous teachers including Mario Giordano, Franco Morone, Martin Di Leo, Giorgio Secco, Luca Jurman, Vittoria Verrone, Charles Grange. In 1998 he acquired the "Certificate of Graduation on vocal discipline" of the University of Massachusset (U.s) where he deepens the 4 main pedagogical approaches of singing • Mechanical • Aesthetic / descriptive • Imitative • Functional / cause and effect. An eclectic and multifaceted artist, he has explored numerous and different musical forms from traditional jazz, to mainstreams, to blues, to pop music, to song theater. He deepens his training activity with the teacher Charles Grange through individual meetings and seminars on the voice and its functionality. He has participated in numerous festivals and singing competitions including Sanremo Rock and Sanremo Giovani. From the 90s / 2000s he professionally undertakes the activity of musical teaching, live music evenings and recordings for numerous studios, music schools and theatrical realities also in the Lombardy region which allowed him to experiment a wide range of musical styles: from Italian and foreign songwriters, to pop / rock / light music of the 70s-80s-90s, from world music to rhitm & blues, up to the production of unreleased songs. Numerous discs have been published for the DrSound recording music label in Italian (https://myspace.com/davidearpa) and English (https://www.reverbnation.com/arpad). Graduated in law in 1999 at the state university of Milan with a thesis in musical copyright, currently he mainly dedicates himself to vocal-coaching, concerts and live music events as well as to the recording and publication of unpublished pop songs.
